Report: Tottenham make enquiry over €15million deal for Inter Milan midfielder

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly made an enquiry to Inter Milan over the availability of Ivan Perišić.

The Croatian midfielder has spent the season on loan at Bayern Munich which includes the option for the German giants to make the deal permanent (Bundesliga).

Perisic, 31, has been in decent form for the Bundesliga champions having scored six goals and created nine more during his 30 league and cup appearances this season (transfermarkt).

Fussball Transfers claim that the winger has agreed to remain with Bayern until August and they are keen to make the deal permanent but are not prepared to spend previously agreed €20million due to the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

Inter are instead said to be willing to accept a fee of €15million with Bayern also reluctant to meet the revised valuation.

Tottenham and Manchester United are reported to have made contact with Jose Mourinho claimed to be a big admirer of Perisic and tried to take him to Manchester United when he was in charge of the former Premier League champions.
