Tottenham Hotspur have been without a head coach for over sixty days since Daniel Levy decided to part company with Jose Mourinho.
Tottenham’s players who have not participated in international football since the end of the last campaign are set to report for pre-season training on July 5th and currently do not have a permanent head coach in place to put the players through their paces.
Sport Italia journalist Gianluigi Longari has taken to Twitter to claim that Tottenham have made positive first contact with Brighton for Graham Potter, however, the club also remain interested in Nuno Espirito Santo.
Brighton have been previously vocal in their desire to keep Potter at the Amex Stadium (Argus), while Espirito Santo has been out of work since leaving Wolverhampton Wanderers at the end of last season.
The Athletic claimed yesterday that Daniel Levy is likely to return to his original managerial shortlist after the club failed to appoint any of Antonio Conte, Paulo Fonseca or Gennaro Gattuso.
#Tottenham nella corsa per la panchina si valuta anche il profilo di Graham #Potter attualmente al #Brighton. Primi contatti positivi.
Sempre valida la candidatura di Nuno Espirito Santo. @tvdellosport #THFC— Gianluigi Longari (@Glongari) June 22, 2021
