Report: Tottenham make transfer decision on right back wanted by Man Utd

Tottenham full back Kieran Trippier has had a poor season in which he has made several crucial mistakes that have ended up costing the team.

The defender has come in for criticism from some Spurs fans and has himself admitted that he is not playing as well as he would like.

There have been reports in the British press suggesting that Pochettino is looking to add a dynamic young full back like Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka to the squad in the summer, and is thus open to letting both Trippier and Serge Aurier leave the club.

According to a report in the Express, Italian transfer guru Gianluca di Mazio has revealed that both Manchester United and Napoli have informed Tottenham of their interest in singing Trippier.

However, Di Mazio claims that the Spurs hierarchy has decided to put any transfer talks on the back burner until the summer so that the players could concentrate on finishing the season strongly.

So, it looks like we will have to wait and see if the club is willing to sell Trippier to a top 6 rival.
