Report: Tottenham midfielder now in talks to join overseas club

Football Insider have revealed that Moussa Sissoko is in talks with an overseas club ahead of sealing a potential move away from Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham are currently in the middle of their summer rebuild, with Toby Alderweireld, Erik Lamela, Danny Rose, Juan Foyth, Joe Hart and Paulo Gazzaniga departing the club while Bryan Gil, Pierluigi Gollini and Cristian Romero have been added to the squad.

The club are expected to be busy in the final few weeks of the window, with Sissoko thought to be among those who Tottenham are intent on moving on.

The French international hinted towards the end of last season that his time at North London might be up.

Football Insider have now revealed the midfielder is edging closer to a move away from the club after being informed by Nuno Espirito Santo that he is free to leave.

The report claims that Spurs have already begun negotiating the 31-year-old’s permanent sale with an overseas club.

The club will need to find buyers for Sissoko, Aurier, and Sanchez within the next three weeks. Dele Alli looks likely to stay based on his involvement in pre-season while it remains to be seen if Winks has a future under Nuno.
