Inter Live have revealed that Inter Milan could cash in on Marcelo Brozovic in the summer amidst interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
Some Italian outlets reported during the January transfer window that Spurs were exploring a potential offer for Brozovic (CMW.it) but such an offer never came from the North London club.
Inter Live have now revealed that the Croat remains on Antonio Conte’s radar and that the Italian could ask the Tottenham hierarchy to sign the midfielder if he remains at Spurs beyond the end of the season.
While Barcelona are also said to hold an interest in Brozovic, it is asserted that Spurs are the ones who are ‘most interested’ in the player.
The publication adds that the Lilywhties could submit an offer of €25m (£22.2m) for the midfielder or a bid of €10m (£8.8m) plus Japhet Tanganga, who is said to be of interest to Inter.
Inter Live add that even if Brozovic decides that he would like to remain at the San Siro, the Nerazzurri hierarchy would prefer to cash in on him, owing to their economic problems.
Spurs Web Opinion
We know that Conte rates Brozovic and that Croat would fit in well into the Italian system. However, he is not of the age profile that Tottenham usually go for. I suspect the North London club would prefer a younger alternative with a higher resale value.
