Report: Tottenham one of six clubs interested in 22-year-old Serie A star

Serbian publication Nova Sport have revealed that Juventus might be forced to sell Dusan Vlahovic due to the alleged legal issues the club are facing, with Tottenham said to be one of the clubs interested in the striker.

The report alleges that Juve are under investigation for false financial reports, including secret agreements with players on salary payments involving as many as 17 current and former players.

It is claimed that the Old Lady might have little choice but to cash in on Vlahovic, just 12 months on from signing the striker from Fiorentina.

The report asserts that three Premier League clubs, in the form of Spurs, Arsenal and Manchester United, have expressed an interest in the 22-year-old.

The Gunners are said to be particularly keen on the back of the injury to Gabriel Jesus, with Nova Sport revealing that Mikel Arteta’s men tried to sign the centre-forward prior to his switch to the Allianz Stadium 12 months ago.

Bayern Munich are also credited with an interest in Vlahovic, with the Bundesliga giants said to be eyeing the Juve star as an alternative to Harry Kane.

Atletico Madrid are said to be monitoring the former Fiorentina man as a potential replacement for Joao Felix, while Paris Saint-Germain could also make a move for the striker next summer depending on the futures of Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi.

Spurs Web Opinion

None of the Italian publications seem to be suggesting that Juve are set to cash in on Vlahovic owing to their alleged legal troubles. The fact that this update comes from a Serbian outlet could mean that the information has been passed on from the player’s entourage. In any case, I cannot see Tottenham making a move for another centre-forward, given that Conte has both Kane and Richarlison at his disposal.
