Report: Tottenham open talks to sign 27-year-old for free in the summer

Tottenham Hotspur may soon be in need of a new left-back, with Jose Mourinho’s current first-choice being a central defender over the age of 30.

Danny Rose’s contract ends in around 18-months, while Ben Davies is out injured well into the new year, so who are Spurs thinking of bringing in?

The Lilywhites have made good use of Paris Saint Germain over recent years, signing both Lucas Moura and Serge Aurier from the French giants.

Both have gone on to become key players for Mourinho in this new-look team in recent weeks, but Spurs may look to raid PSG once again.

Foot Mercato have reported that Spurs have now opened talks to sign left-back Layvin Kurzawa on a free transfer, with the 27-year-old’s contract up in the summer.

His current club are said to want to offload him, but Kurzawa would prefer to leave on a free transfer instead. West Ham and Man United are also said to be interested.
