Report: Tottenham planning sensational Paulo Dybala swap deal for January

A report out of Tuttosport claims that Tottenham and Mauricio Pochettino are planning to make a sensational move for Paulo Dybala in the January transfer window.

Eyebrows were well and truly raised when Spurs had a bid of £64.4m accepted for the Argentine forward back in the summer, but they were unable to get the move over the line (Sky Sports).

With more time to plan between now and January, perhaps Spurs would have a better chance moving for the Juventus player then.

Tottenham also have the matter of Christian Eriksen to sort out, with the Great Dane making it clear that he wants a move away from the club (Ekstra Bladet).

As such, it is quite likely that he will let his contract run down and leave for a free in the summer of 2020, but can Tottenham use him to their advantage before that?

The Tuttosport report claims that Spurs may attempt a swap deal for Eriksen and Dybala to switch places in the new year.

Dybala has only played 14 minutes in Serie A so far this season.

Could it be on?
