Report: Tottenham player could join French League club as early as Thursday

Two years ago to the month, Tottenham Hotspur signed Serge Aurier from Paris Saint-Germain for a fee of around £23m (BBC).

The Ivory Coast international signed a five year deal with the North London club, taking him up to 2022. However, he may not even make it to 2020 at this rate.

Aurier has played a total of 41 games for Tottenham in his two full seasons at the club, scoring four goals in that time (Wikipedia).

However, he has never really been able to establish himself as a consistent starter under Pochettino.

Football Insider now report that the right-back could be on his way back to France and back to his old club PSG.

Aurier is said to already be in talks with the French giants over a move that could go through as early as Thursday this week.

They claim that Pochettino has informed Aurier he can leave the club this summer, which would leave Kyle Walker-Peters as the only senior right-back at the club.
