Tottenham Hotspur recently gave Danny Rose permission to discuss a possible exit from the club.
The left-back remained in England when the rest of the squad travelled to the Far East for the matches against Juventus and Manchester United last month (Spurs official).
Rose came back into Mauricio Pochettino’s squad for the Audi Cup matches earlier this week when he was named in the starting line up to face Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
He admitted in June that he did not know if he would still be a Spurs player at the start of this season and suggested that the club may look to move him on with him now being 29 (Sky Sports).
Spanish news outlet Sport have claimed that La Liga giants Barcelona have ‘discarded’ the possibility of a move for Rose along with Borussia Dortmund’s Raphael Guerreiro.
Losing Rose would be considered as a huge blow to many Spurs fans after the former Leeds player showed some of his best form last season after overcoming his injury problems.
