RMC Sport reporter Fabrice Hawkins has revealed that Hugo Lloris is in talks with Lazio, with the goalkeeper’s contract set to be mutually terminated.
Real Madrid are now on the lookout for a new goalkeeper after Thibaut Courtois suffered an ACL injury and it was suggested by L’Equipe on Thursday that the La Liga giants could turn their attention to Lloris.
Hawkins has now said that the Tottenham man was indeed offered to Madrid but Los Blancos allegedly made it clear that there are other goalkeepers who rank higher on their shortlist at the moment.

The journalist adds that despite having a year left to run on his contract, the former Spurs captain is expected to be released from his contract due to the ‘service rendered’ to the club
As a result, the 36-year-old is now thought to be locked in negotiations over a switch to Lazio, with the Italian side said to have positioned themselves to swoop for the Frenchman.
