90 min report that Fulham are continuing to monitor Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg ahead of January.

There has been a lot said and written in the Italian press about Juventus’ interest in Hojbjerg over the last few weeks, with various outlets suggesting that the move might not be straightforward for the Serie A giants.

This includes an update from CalcioMercato two weeks ago, which claimed that Lilywhites are not open to letting the 28-year-old leave on loan and are insisting on a permanent €30m (£26m) sale, which might prove excessive for the Old Lady.

Fulham could enter the race for Hojbjerg

If 90 min’s latest update is to be believed, a potential move to Fulham could once again open up for Hojbjerg in January.

The report explains that even though Joao Palhinha has signed a new contract at Craven Cottage, the West London club expects Bayern to rekindle their interest in the Portuguese star in January.

Marco Silva’s men are thus said to have started exploring the market for the former Sporting man’s replacements, with Hojbjerg being one of three players they have identified.

Interestingly, the two other midfielders on Fulham’s radar are said to be Kalvin Phillips and Andre Trindade, who are also rumoured to be of interest to Spurs (Football Transfers and talkSPORT).

Spurs Web Opinion

I do not think Hojbjerg would be too keen on making a move to Fulham. If Juventus are not willing to pay Tottenham’s asking price, the Dane would be hoping that Atletico Madrid reignite their interest following their failed summer approach.
