Report: Tottenham player remains a doubt 48 hours ahead of Crystal Palace clash

The Daily Mail have claimed that there is still no clarity on whether Pedro Porro would be fit to face Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Both Porro and Destiny Udogie missed the clash against Wolves, with the former picking up a muscle injury and the latter coming off with a knock against Brighton a couple of weeks ago.

The pair’s importance was demonstrated in Spurs’ 2-1 loss to the West Midlands side, with Ben Davies and Emerson Royal unable to provide the same sort of thrust for the home side.

Udogie is fit to start but Porro is a doubt

The Evening Standard stated on Wednesday that Udogie had returned to full training at Hotspur Way this week but the outlet revealed that neither Porro nor Manor Solomon had done so.

The Mail have now confirmed that the Italian will be fit to start against the Eagles, having fully recovered from the knock.

However, the publication added that the Spaniard is still recovering from his muscle problem and remains a doubt to be involved for Saturday’s clash.

Spurs Web Opinion

While we can cope with one of Davies or Emerson starting, the team suffers considerably when both start at the same time. It is thus very good news for Postecoglou that Udogie is fit for Saturday and I doubt the Australian will risk Porro if the right-back is not 100 per cent.
