Report: Tottenham player still wants to quit club with two European teams interested

Tottenham Hotspur fans were given their first glimpse of Serge Aurier since the end of last season when the Lilywhites took on Aston Villa yesterday.

Although Kyle Walker-Peters started at right-back, the Ivory Coast man took his place on the bench, despite not featuring at all in pre-season.

Surprisingly, although the club have already parted ways with Kieran Trippier this summer, it sounds as if they may also be selling Aurier before the window is up.

Clubs in Spain, Italy, France, and Germany have until September 2 to bring in new players ahead of their season starts, despite the fact that Tottenham can no longer buy.

The Daily Mail report that Aurier still wants to quit Tottenham, despite a definite drop in competition for the right-back spot this season.

He has reportedly made it clear to team-mates that he wants a fresh start.

AC Milan and his old club, PSG, are said to be interested in taking the full-back from Tottenham over the next three weeks.
