Tottenham Hotspur have started their pre-season tour with Christian Eriksen in the squad, although he was not one of the 21 players to feature in the first match against Juventus.
Eriksen has been training alone on the tour as he recovers from minor surgery he underwent after the end of last season (Sun).
The Great Dane revealed to the Danish media that he was ready to leave Spurs this summer, as he looked for a step up and a new challenge for the new season (Ekstra Bladet).
However, he did add that he would be willing to sign a new deal if no big clubs come in for him before the start of the new campaign.
Well, we are now just weeks away from the new Premier League season, and there have been no concrete reports of any bids for the playmaker.
The Telegraph claim that Eriksen is still patiently waiting for one of Man United, Real Madrid, or Juventus to come in with a bid.
Spurs Web Opinion:
I can’t see anyone signing Eriksen this late in the day, to be honest. In my mind, he will definitely be a Spurs player come the new season, it just comes down to whether Levy can convince him to sign on the dotted line.
