Report: Tottenham player’s agent has offered him to a Turkish side

According to a report in Takvim, Giovani Lo Celso has been offered to Beskitas ahead of the summer transfer window as the midfielder tries to seal an exit from Tottenham.

The report says that Lo Celso, who has a year left on his contract with Spurs, ‘wants to leave’ the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at the end of the season as he is not happy with his lack of game time.

It is pointed out that the 28-year-old has been restricted to less than 600 minutes over the course of the season and this has convinced him and his entourage to seek a new club.

Giovani Lo Celso offered to Besiktas

In fact, it is claimed that Lo Celso’s agent has now reached out to Besiktas to offer them the chance to sign his client this summer.

The publication adds that the Turkish giants are looking to strengthen in midfield and are now expected to evaluate a potential deal for the Tottenham man.

Lo Celso is not going to have any shortage of suitors from across Europe, with several La Liga sides likely to be in for him this summer. It would thus not make much sense for the 28-year-old to be considering move to Turkey, especially if he wants to hold on to his place in the Argentine national set-up.
