Report: Tottenham poised to listen to offers for three defenders this summer

Tottenham will listen to offers for Matt Doherty, Emerson Royal and Sergio Reguilon this summer, according to the Evening Standard.

Spurs are likely to be in for an exciting few months ahead with Champions League football to look forward to and a £150 million cash injection from majority shareholders ENIC.

Conte is thought to have requested two new wing-backs this summer to improve the options at his disposal (Telegraph).

As such, it could leave the futures of current wing-back trio of Doherty, Emerson and Reguilon up in the air with a squad revamp in the pipeline.

The Evening Standard claim Spurs are willing to entertain offers for the trio with Conte keen on transforming his wide options with at least two ‘dynamic, fast and aggressive’ profiles.

Spurs have been linked with Filip Kostic in recent days after allegedly being impressed with the 29-year-old’s showing during Eintracht Frankfurt’s win over Rangers in the Europa League final (Football.London).

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has also given his ‘here we go’ seal of approval to Tottenham signing Ivan Perisic on a free transfer – an experienced star who has played under Conte before.

Spurs Web Opinion

This summer looks to be a key moment in the recent history of Spurs and they have to make sure they get it right with what they currently have.

Wing-backs are so important to get right in a team led by Conte and the names that are being linked are immediate upgrades on who is currently at the club.
