Report: Tottenham reach agreement with Turkish club to loan player

A report from Sporx today claims that Tottenham have reached an agreement with Turkish side Besiktas over the loan transfer of Georges-Kevin Nkoudou.

The Turkish website report it will be a six-month loan until the end of the season, and that both sides have agreed the deal in principle, with it to be announced shortly.

Nkoudou is said to be Ricardo Quaresma’s replacement as the 36-year-old is set to play his last game for the club at the weekend before returning to Porto for family reasons.

Nkoudou has barely featured for Spurs over the past two seasons, bar a few Premier League cameos from the bench, and the odd start in the minor cup matches.

However, this loan deal comes after Nkoudou was the hero against Fulham on Sunday, coming on in the 86th minute to set up a last minute winner with a delightful cross into Harry Winks.

Is this the right move for Spurs?
