Report: Tottenham ready to pounce on in-form Leeds winger

According to a report by Football Insider, Spurs are eyeing up a move for in-form Leeds winger Jack Clarke.

The Premier League outfit are said to be interested in a January transfer for the 18-year-old, who is quickly becoming one of the hottest young, English properties around.

Clarke has been in eye-catching form of late for promotion-hunting Leeds United, a period during which Tottenham have been scouting him extensively.

The report claims Spurs are willing to pay £10m for the highly-rated youngster.

Clarke started his Leeds career in style on his first League start last Friday, setting up both goals in a 2-0 win over Derby.

Since his first team debut in October, Clarke has chalked up two goals of his own, and plenty of positive reviews around Leeds.

He is currently one of the lowest paid players in the Leeds team, but Leeds are putting off contract talks until the end of the season.
