Report: Tottenham rival West Ham for Championship winger

Said Benrahma has been spectacular for Brentford after moving to the club last summer from French side Nice. The 23-year-old has scored nine goals and setting up eleven in 24 Championship starts so far this season.

His attacking quality has attracted the interest of several top-flight clubs, and according to TEAMtalk, Tottenham and West Ham have now entered the race for the striker. With Brentford languishing in 14th place in the Championship at the moment, their chances of winning promotion to the Premier League this season are extremely slim.

The Algerian winger is thus likely to be picked up by a top-flight club next year given that he has proved he can handle the pace and physicality of English football.

The report also claims that both Arsenal and Crystal Palace have also watched him in recent weeks and that the Bees will demand around £30 million for his signature.

The 23-year-old who prefers playing on the right of a front three could prove a valuable addition to the squad but it remains to be seen if he has the quality to make the step up to the Premier League.
