Report: Tottenham scouted young striker last weekend

Tottenham Hotspur sent their scouts to watch Hull City striker Jarrod Bowen last weekend according to a report by Football.London.

The scouts would have certainly been impressed by Bowen as the 22-year-old winger produced a stellar performance scoring a brace as the Tigers beat Sheffield Wednesday 3-0.

The former Hereford United player has been one of the standout players in the Championship this season scoring 13 goals and providing three assists so far.

According to the report Everton, Leeds United, Crystal Palace, Leicester City, and Burnley are all keen on signing the youngster.

The report also claims that Pochettino wishes to turn Bowen into a wide-forward as he is impressed with the player’s work rate and ability to finish.

With the recent news about Harry Kane’s ankle injury and with Heung-Min Son currently at the Asian Cup, Tottenham are short of attacking options at the moment.

Potentially bringing the Hull City man to the club in the current transfer window will help address that problem.
