Report: Tottenham scouts sent to this Europa League match

A report by Walfoot claims that Spurs were among a host of clubs scouting at the Europe League clash between Club Brugge and Red Bull Salzburg on Thursday night.

Tottenham Hotspur haven’t signed a new player in over a year, so they are certainly due a new face around the squad.

The club’s last signing was Lucas Moura from PSG at the very end of the 2018 January transfer window.

It now appears that the Spurs scouting team have taken an interest in Brugge and Salzburg for some reason, although the report does not list who the club were watching.

HITC claim Spurs may have been looking at Club Brugge’s Brazilian striker Wesley Moraes, who has 13 goals in all competitions this season.

They also named Salzburg’s forward Munas Dabbur as a potential target, and Israeli international who has 20 goals in 31 games this season.

You may remember that Estadio Deportivo also reported last year that Spurs scouts visited a Salzburg game.
