Report: Tottenham set to tell £8m signing with 30 appearances to find a new club

Tottenham Hotspur signed young Juan Foyth for a reported £8m back in August 2017, a then 19-year-old who had recently broken into the Estudiantes first-team.

However, after three seasons at the North London club, Foyth has only amassed 30 appearances in total, with only 16 coming in the Premier League (Wikipedia).

Chances have been few and far between under Mourinho since Foyth’s fellow compatriot Mauricio Pochettino was sacked from the club.

Academy graduate, Japhet Tanganga, appears to have risen above the young Argentine in the pecking order amidst the Special One’s regime.

Football Insider now report that Tottenham are set to tell Foyth to find a new club this summer after failing to make an impression under Mourinho.

The report adds that Spurs blocked a January move for the 22-year-old but will now grant his wish and allow him an exit from North London.

Daniel Levy is said to want to recoup to £8m fee that the club paid for Foyth three years ago.
