Report: Tottenham stamp huge transfer price on Eriksen’s head

Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Christian Eriksen has entered the final year and a half of his current contract at the North London club.

It is not yet clear whether the midfield maestro will sign a new deal, whether Spurs will sell him in the summer, or whether they will allow his contract to run down.

However, if a bid does come in for the great Dane, OK Diario claim Tottenham will be demanding a bumper £190m for their midfield man.

This seems an ambitious price for someone with only a limited time on their contract, but chairman Daniel Levy has gained a reputation for getting big prices for his players.

Real Madrid are said to be interested in Eriksen (The Sun), with their own front line struggling to find the back of the net so far this season.

Madrid are currently struggling in their domestic league by their standards and sit in fifth place in La Liga, 10 points behind rivals Barcelona at the top of the table.
