Report: Tottenham star fined after being caught speeding in Land Rover

Tottenham Hotspur’s Davinson Sanchez has started every match and played every single minute so far under new manager Jose Mourinho.

Not only this, but the Colombian is quickly becoming one of the North London club’s very best defenders, now striking up a good partnership with Toby Alderweireld at the back.

However, the Daily Mail have now reported that Sanchez was caught speeding this year and has now received three points on his license for the event.

The Willesden Magistrates Court were told that the defender was clocked going 62 miles per hour in a 50 zone back in February 2019 in his Land Rover.

Sanchez was fined £146 for speeding, with costs of £100 and an additional victim surcharge of £30.

Spurs will be hoping to see the former record signing making the headlines on the pitch for the rest of the season, rather than his actions away from the football pitch.

Spurs Web Opinion:

I think this was a pretty harsh story from the Daily Mail. After all, people get points on their licenses all the time, famous or not famous.
