Report: Tottenham star ‘seeking clarity’ on his future, wants new challenge

GiveMeSport say that Bryan Gil’s time at Tottenham could be about to end, with the winger now seeking clarity about his future after previously deciding to stay and fight for his place.

Unsurprisingly, various sources are now talking up the possibility of Gil exiting Spurs this summer, three years on from his arrival at Hotpsur Way.

Last week, Fabrizio Romano explained that the winger turned down the chance to leave Spurs on loan in January and that his stance has not changed since then, with the player only open to a permanent switch.

The journalist asserted that the Spain international would only make the jump if he felt a certain project would be the right fit for him.

It has since been suggested over recent days by a few outlets that the 23-year-old is prioritising a return to his former club, Sevilla (Vamos Mi Sevilla).

GiveMeSport have now become the latest publication to suggest that Gil’s days at the North London club appear to be numbered.

The outlet points out that the wide-man was keen to fight for his place at Spurs in January but he is now seeking clarity over his future and is open to a departure.

The report adds that Tottenham are willing to listen to offers for the player and suggests that Feyenoord could look to take the young attacker to De Kuip this summer.

Spurs Web Opinion

There is going to be a mass exodus at Tottenham this summer as the club looks to trim their wage bill and make room for new signings. Gil, Lo Celso, Rodon, Ndombele, Reguilon, Spence, Parrott, Hojbjerg, Sessegnon, Skipp and potentially Emerson could all be on their way out.
