Report: Tottenham striker target also wanted by Man Utd and Liverpool

Tuttosport have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur target, Andrea Belotti is on the radars of a number of clubs around Europe, including Manchester United and Liverpool.

Belotti has been one of the most prolific strikers in the Serie A for the last six years and has also been the main man upfront for the Azzurri since 2016.

Despite Tornio’s struggles this season, the striker has still found the back of the net 12 times in the Serie A and provided 7 assists so far this campaign.

It was reported last summer that Tottenham had an offer of around €50m (£46.3m) rejected by Torino for the striker with the club’s sporting director Davide Vagnati also confirming Spurs’ approach.

Reports from Italy have since backed the North Londoners to make another approach for the experienced striker this summer, with Spurs said to be at the front of the queue for his signature (La Stampa via TuttoMercatoWeb).

However, Tuttosport have now claimed that Tottenham could have a huge battle on their hands for Belotti, who is also attracting interest from Manchester United, Liverpool, Lyon, Napoli, Fiorentina, Inter Milan and AC Milan.

The report suggests that Milan are the front-runners for the Torino star’s signature as the 27-year-old would prefer a move to the Rossoneri.

Spurs Web Opinion

In many respects, Belotti would be the ideal signing for us as he is capable of leading the line on his own, as well as partnering Kane up front. However, as always, the main issue with signing the Italian international would be his willingness to come to Spurs knowing he is likely to play second fiddle to Kane.
