Report: Tottenham talks progress with Dybala but Juventus won’t let him leave

The Paulo Dybala to Tottenham story seems to change with every passing minute, ever since Juventus accepted Spurs’ bid of £64.4m earlier this week (Sky Sports).

The North London club only have until 5 pm today to get some kind of deal sorted for the Argentine before the Premier League transfer window slams shut.

The Independent claimed yesterday that although the player had personally agreed to join Tottenham, his rather unique image rights situation was proving difficult.

The BBC then claimed this morning that the deal was off completely, with Juventus pulling the plug.

Journalist, Gianluca Di Marzio, has now backed up these claims, stating that Juventus won’t sell Dybala or Mandzukic today as they do not have replacements lined up.

This comes after Tottenham have made good progress over personal terms, but it remains to be seen whether they can get this deal over the line in the next four hours or so.
