Report: Tottenham target agrees deal with Real Madrid

Tottenham have been inactive in the transfer window for over a year now, with their last signing being Lucas Moura from PSG all the way back in January 2018.

However, Spurs look to be missing out on another PSG talent, as Adrien Rabiot has reportedly agreed a switch to Real Madrid.

AS report that Rabiot has agreed a deal in principle to join Madrid, after refusing to sign a new deal at his current club.

The Mirror claim that Tottenham, Liverpool, and Barcelona were all keen on signing the wantaway French midfielder.

Zinedine Zidane will be looking to freshen up his squad in the summer after an unsuccessful season, and Rabiot on a free seems like a smart start to that plan.

The only piece of transfer activity for Spurs this season has been the sale of Mousa Dembele to China, but it appears that Rabiot will not be the long-term replacement for the popular Belgian.
