Report: Tottenham target close to £36.5m transfer this summer

Tottenham Hotspur have yet to sign a player this summer since Tanguy Ndombele back in June and with just over a week left in the window, they will need to get a move on.

The Mirror reported in July that Tottenham were expected to sign both Giovani Lo Celso from Real Betis and Ryan Sessegnon from Fulham for a combined £80m.

Neither of these deals have gone through as of yet and it appears Spurs have missed their chance to sign another one of their reported targets this summer.

Sky Sports report that Barcelona winger, Malcom, is set to join Zenit St Petersburg for around £36.5m before deadline day.

The 22-year-old is expected to have his medical in Russia on Friday after a pretty sub-par first season with the Spanish giants.

Sport indicated that Malcom was likely to join Spurs back in January, before reporting again in the past week that Spurs were interested in signing him again.
