Report: Tottenham target hints at move to a new club and league in the future

Tottenham Hotspur became the first Premier League club ever to fail to make a single signing in the summer transfer window this year.

So far, they have followed suit in the January window too, choosing not to bring in any new faces despite a lengthy injury list and the departure of Mousa Dembele.

There is still around two weeks left of the window though, if Levy and Pochettino do wish to line up a late deal or two.

One man who Tottenham have been linked with this month is Lyon’s impressive attacker Nabil Fekir (Calcio Mercato).

The 25-year-old has scored 31 goals and set up a further 13 in 60 games since the start of the 2017/18 season.

A report from the Mirror stated that Lyon would be looking for around £50m for the French World Cup winner.

The player himself has now come out with an exclusive interview with Le Progres, stating that he is happy at Lyon, but hinting that his future may lie in a different league.

He said: “I am happy at Lyon, but which player doesn’t dream of discovering a new league, another club?”
