Report: Tottenham target is ‘ready to pack his bags’ for a January transfer

Calciomercato.it have now become the latest outlet to report that a departure from Juventus is imminent for rumoured Tottenham target Samuel Iling-Junior.

Over the last couple of weeks, The Spurs Web has brought to you several reports which have indicated that Spurs are keen on signing Iling-Junior, with Ange Postecoglou alleged to be an admirer of the winger (Football Insider).

A couple of days ago, Fabrizio Romano backed up Tottenham’s interest in the 20-year-old and remarked that he believes that the attacker would return to England when the transfer window reopens in January (Kick).

Samuel Iling-Junior ready to move in January

This claim has now been backed up by Calciomercato.it who say that the Chelsea academy graduate is ‘ready to pack his bags’ ahead of the transfer window.

The report states that Iling-Junior’s representatives have travelled to England to discuss potential moves for their client next month.

The publication adds that the player knows that he is ‘appreciated’ by Premier League clubs, which is why his agents are already working to bring offers to the table.

It is alleged that Juventus would be open to letting the winger leave for a fee of around €15m-€20m (£12.8m-£17m).

Spurs Web Opinion

There is no doubt that Tottenham would not be the only Premier League side vying for Iling-Junior’s signature in January. It remains to be seen if Postecoglou is able to persuade the youngster that development would be best served by moving to Spurs.
