Report: Tottenham to meet with striker’s agent in London today

Arkadiusz Milik’s representatives are set to meet with Tottenham Hotspur in London today to discuss a potential transfer, according to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.

The Polish striker appeared to be on his way to fellow Serie A side Roma after it is claimed that he would move initially on loan with an obligation to buy for an €18million fee plus up to a further €7million in add-ons and bonuses.

It is reported that Milik has taken to long to iron out his exit from Napoli and the deal has subsequently fallen through with the player and club still to agree on outstanding wages, fines and image rights to the tune of around €1million.

Tottenham head coach Jose Mourinho has already stated his desire to bring in another striker before the transfer window closes on October 5th (Sky Sports).

Milik is in the last year of his contract with Napoli risking the possibility of the target man being able to agree to a pre-contract agreement in January (Daily Mail).
