Report: Tottenham to return with new bid for Torino striker Andrea Belotti

A new report from La Stampa (via Forza Italian Football) has suggested that Spurs have not yet given up hope of signing Torino striker, Andrea Belotti this summer.

It was reported last week that Tottenham had a loan bid with option to buy rejected for the Italian forward (Gianluca Dimarzio).

Belotti has 92 goals in 192 games for Torino across five seasons, including 22 in 44 during the last campaign (Wikipedia).

However, La Stampa believe that the saga is not yet over, revealing that Tottenham are currently preparing a new offer for Belotti.

The report claims that the previous bid was €5m for a season-long loan, followed by an option to buy of €40m. The new deal is said to be worth a total of €50m.

Despite this, it is claimed that Torino are not keen on letting such an important player leave the club this summer. At the moment, Harry Kane remains Tottenham’s only senior striker in North London.
