According to a report in Calcio Mercato, Tottenham are interested in adding Inter Milan’s Matias Vecino and Napoli’s Amadou Diawara to their squad in the summer.
Matias Vecino has had a fantastic season in Milan, and is said to be attracting the interest of several big European clubs.
With Christian Eriksen yet to sign a new contract with Spurs, and linked with moves to Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus, it is suggested that Spurs have identified Vecino as a potential replacement for the Dane.
Meanwhile, Amadou Diawara has had yet another solid season in the heart of Napoli’s midfield. The 21-year-old midfielder has become one of the most highly rated prospects in the Serie A, and Tottenham are said to be holding a long term interest in the youngster.
While Diawara will be a great replacement for the recently departed Moussa Dembele, he is likely to cost a considerable amount as several big hitters are reported to be interested in Guinean.
