The Guardian and The Telegraph have both reported that Tottenham are now interested in Bayern Munich starlet, Mathys Tel, amidst talks about Harry Kane.
The Guardian claim that Spurs are understood to like the 18-year-old attacker, although Thomas Tuchel intends to keep the youngster for the season unless something major changes.
Tottenham want player and cash for Harry Kane
The Telegraph add that Tottenham might use their talks with Bayern Munich to try and land the highly-rated forward this summer. Tel has been compared to Kylian Mbappe in the past.
Spurs and Bayern are set to meet again on Monday to discuss a possible transfer of England captain, Harry Kane, with the Bundesliga giants willing to go as high as £86m.
However, it appears the Lilywhites are looking for more than money, as they want to prise one of the gems of the Bayern youth system away from the German side.
Spurs Web Opinion:
If you can persuade them to part with £86m plus Tel then sure. I don’t want Tottenham to lose out on a huge fee because they took a punt on a teenager instead of investing big on a Harry Kane replacement.
