Report: Tottenham won’t sack Pochettino amidst player fears that he wants exit

A report from the Daily Mail claims that Daniel Levy will not be sacking Mauricio Pochettino despite the club’s poor start to the season.

Spurs have won just three out of ten games so far this campaign, with their most recent loss coming in humiliating fashion at the hands of Bayern Munich.

The German champions came from behind the beat Spurs 7-2 on their own turf on Tuesday night, just months after Tottenham were in the final of the Champions League.

The Mail claim that sources have revealed Pochettino has been distant ever since returning to the club after the summer break. They go as far as to say that he just watches some training sessions from indoors.

However, there is apparently no danger of a sacking out of Spurs, with the key factor being the £32m Tottenham would have to pay to buy out his contract.

Some players are said to be confused by a number of Poch’s tactical changes so far this season, with a reported unease at the Argentine’s treatment of certain players.
