Report: Tottenham youngster to be loaned out

If reports are to be believed Spurs are set to have a relatively quiet transfer deadline day. While the club are said to be keen to find takers for Georges Kevin-Nkoudou and Vincent Janssen, Spurs aren’t said to be in a hurry to bring any players in.

It has now emerged that Spurs are also looking to loan out another one of their academy prospects before the deadline at midnight. According to a report in The Guardian, Tottenham want to loan out 20-year-old striker Kazaiah Sterling until the end of the season.

Sterling is highly rated at Spurs and some fans even expected him to get a look in to the first team after the injuries to Harry Kane and Dele Alli. However, it appears that Pochettino might not consider Sterling to be ready for first team football just yet as the 20-year-old has featured just once as a substitute so far this season.

A loan move to the Championship might certainly prove beneficial for Sterling’s development.
