Newcastle United are rumoured to be interested in Tottenham Hotspur’s Ryan Sessegnon this summer.
The Sun claim that Magpies boss Steve Bruce has a tight transfer budget to work with following the failed £300million takeover attempt by the Saudi-backed consortium which would have left them with a healthy transfer war chest.
Instead, Bruce is expected to have around £30million available at his disposal for new signings and Sessegnon is said to be at the top of his shopping list.
The St James’ Park outfit are keen to take the England Under-21 international on a season long loan deal.
Sessegnon appears to be a man in demand this summer with Dutch giants Ajax also keen on a loan move for the 20-year-old while there is also interest from former club Fulham (Guardian).
The £25million signing (BBC) has struggled for regular game time since his move to North London having only managed to make 12 appearances in all competitions for Tottenham last season (transfermarkt).
