Report: Tottenham’s summer deal is called a ‘fiasco’ amidst player struggles

Turkish outlet TV100 have not held back on Tanguy Ndombele, describing the midfielder’s time at Galatasaray as a ‘fiasco’.

Ndombele would have gone to Galatasaray with hopes of getting his floundering career back on track but one can argue that this season has perhaps been the worst of the Frenchman’s career so far.

The 27-year-old has not been able to get regular minutes under his belt and has not looked up to speed in the few opportunities that have come his way.

It was reported by Sporx a couple of days ago that Galatasaray have already decided not to take up the option to buy the midfielder or extend his loan move, with the player set to return to Hotspur Way in May.

Tottenham’s Tanguy Ndombele fiasco continues

TV100 have now described the move as a ‘fiasco’, claiming that the investment made by Galatasaray has proved wasteful.

It is revealed that the Turkish club had ‘great hopes’ for the France international, which is why they attached an option to buy in the loan deal.

However, the report adds that Ndombele has simply not been ‘physically ready’ throughout the season and has been ‘disappointing’ whenever he has played.

Spurs Web Opinion

Tottenham might have had a chance of potentially offloading Ndombele to the Middle East last summer but I doubt if even any Saudi side would show interest in the Frenchman after his horror showing at Galatasaray.
