Report: Troy Parrott ‘likes’ Tweet digging into Jose Mourinho and talking of Spurs exit

What a season it has been for Troy Parrott so far in 2019, as he has gone from strength to strength for both club and county.

Parrott was given the nod to join the team on their pre-season tour of Asia before the campaign kicked off, impressing as he started against the likes of Juventus.

The youngster was then given his senior Spurs debut in the League Cup against Colchester United, playing over an hour of the match.

Pochettino also regularly included the teenager in first-team training, as well as inviting him to travel with the first-team to away matches.

Following this, Parrott was handed debuts at both Republic of Ireland U21 and senior levels.

However, has Troy’s Tottenham career taken a dent with the sacking of Poch and the appointment of Mourinho, a manager not famed for his faith in the academy?

Parrott was reportedly seen ‘liking’ a post on Twitter today digging Mourinho and urging the 17-year-old to move to United instead (Metro).

He has since unliked the tweet.
