Report: Two clubs ‘dreaming’ of Spurs man providing Man United don’t ‘do something crazy’

While Tottenham Hotspur’s Christian Eriksen does not look set to sign a new deal in North London, his future remains uncertain.

With a couple of months to go until the winter transfer window, the question still remains, will Spurs attempt to sell the Great Dane while they still can?

Eriksen’s contract is up in the summer, meaning he could talk to non-English clubs in January about a pre-contract agreement ahead of a free move.

Inter Milan and Juventus are both said to be ‘dreaming’ of a free transfer for the Tottenham playmaker, with Eriksen having no intention of signing a new contract.

However, Gazzetta Dello Sport claim this all depends on whether Man United decide to ‘do something crazy’ or not regarding the Spurs midfielder.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team apparently look ready to do just that, with the report hinting at a January bid for Eriksen.

It is unclear whether Spurs would rather take the money and see Eriksen join a rival or watch him go abroad for free.
