Report: Two Prem clubs set to rival Spurs for star playmaker target this summer

Tottenham Hotspur are said to be interested in signing Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid this summer, but they may now have two new rivals for his signature (Marca).

After starring for Spain in their U21 European Championship winning campaign, it seems as if Ceballos has earned a few admirers in the process.

The Spanish midfielder caught the eye with his attacking flair, positive passing, and long-range goals at the tournament.

The playmaker was even tipped to be part of a Real Madrid bid for Christian Eriksen, with £45m plus Ceballos reported as a potential offer from Los Blancos (Sun).

However, Marca now report that Liverpool and Arsenal are both keen on signing the midfield maestro this summer.

Klopp is said to admire the player, but Liverpool want him on a permanent deal, contrasting to Real Madrid’s desire to insert a buy-back clause.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are keen on a loan deal due to their limited funds this summer.

Spurs are said to hold an advantage over their rivals as they are open to including a buy-back clause in the player’s contract, while Madrid’s potential interest in Eriksen will do them no harm in terms of bargaining chips.
