Report: Two rival European clubs set sights on Spurs-linked Dusan Vlahovic

According to CalcioMercato, Juventus and Inter Milan have both set their sights on Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic, who has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur over recent weeks.

Since Tottenham failed to get a deal for Vlahovic over the line during the summer transfer window, the centre-forward has been on fire in front of goal, scoring seven goals in ten appearances across all competitions for Viola this season.

The striker’s current deal at the Artemio Franchi Stadium runs out in 2023 and talks between him and Fiorentina have allegedly broken down.

Spurs have been backed to reignite their interest in the Serbian international when the transfer market reopens in January.

However, if CalcioMercato’s latest report is to be believed, Tottenham’s move for Vlahovic might not prove straightforward. The report explains that Juve and Inter have both set their sights on the Fiorentina man.

Additionally, it is stated that Massimiliano Allegri’s men and Simone Inzaghi’s men are also set to target Sampdoria winger Mikkel Damsgaard, who was also heavily linked with a move to Spurs in the summer.

Spurs Web Opinion

Some reliable sources like Alasdair Gold and Charlie Eccleshare have said that Tottenham will try to make an attacking addition in the summer. So, it is certainly possible that we could reignite our interest in Damsgaard or Vlahovic.

I personally think that we are more likely to move for a wide-forward than a central striker in January, particularly given that Kane looks set to stay at least until next summer.
