Report: Two rumoured Spurs midfield targets also on AC Milan’s radar

According to a report from TuttoSport, rumoured Tottenham targets, Isco and Marcel Sabitzer are also on the radar of AC Milan this summer.

Isco has just one year left on his contract with Real Madrid and The Daily Mirror reported last month that Tottenham were looking to complete a cut-price £14m move for the Spanish international.

Meanwhile, Sabitzer was heavily linked with a move to Spurs during the January transfer window and the North Londoners have been backed to make another move for the 27-year-old this summer.

However, sources have indicated that Tottenham could face competition from their North London rivals, Arsenal for the RB Leipzig star.

Tuttosport now state that AC Milan have entered the race for Sabitzer, having reached out to the Bundesliga club about the midfielder.

It is asserted that Leipzig are demanding €20m (£17m) for the Austrian international, who has 12 months left on his contract.

Isco is said to be another option that the Rossoneri are considering due to his similar contract situation.

Spurs Web Opinion

I do not expect us to move for Isco this summer as I do not really see him as a Nuno type of player.

Sabitzer is much more direct and I suspect he will find the transition to the Premier League much easier than the Spaniard.

However, whether or not we move for a number ten this summer likely depends on what Nuno decides regarding Dele Alli.
