Report: Tyson Fury to fight at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in December

The Sun have revealed that Tyson Fury is set to fight Derek Chisora at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in December.

Tottenham’s home ground hosted a major fight a little over a year ago when Anthony Joshua put his IBF, WBA, WBO and IBO World Titles on the line against Oleksandr Usyk at the state-of-the-art venue.

Usyk defeated Joshua to win his three heavyweight titles, in front of a sell-out crowd in North London before subsequently retaining them again in August in Saudi Arabia.

It has now emerged that Spurs’ home will be the grand stage of another major fight with Fury set to put his WBC heavyweight title on the line against Chisora.

It will be the third time that the pair has squared off against each other, with the report revealing that the fight will be held in N17 on December 3.

Spurs Web Opinion

Given the success of the Joshua-Usyk fight, it is not surprising that Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is the venue that the promoters prefer.

Spurs’ home ground is quickly becoming the best venue in London to host sporting events and concerts, and these will only make the naming rights of the stadium even more lucrative for interested brands.
