Report: United table mega offer to tempt Spurs target to Manchester

Tottenham Hotspur will surely be looking to invest in the summer transfer window, particularly after the heartbreak in Madrid last night.

Spurs have not signed a single new face in over 16 months, and have still yet to replace Mousa Dembele after he departed in January 2019.

One midfielder who Spurs have been heavily linked to for some time is wantaway PSG star Adrien Rabiot (Sun).

With the Frenchman’s contract coming to an end this summer, he will be available on a free, with a number of clubs said to be interested.

The Express report that Man United, Tottenham, and Juventus are all keen to sign the PSG man up for next season.

And, with no transfer fee to pay, reports now indicated that United have tabled a huge offer of £170,000 a week for the 24-year-old, with an added five million Euro signing on fee (Le 10 Sport).

However, the Express say that Spurs and Juventus could still have hope as United did not secure Champions League football for next season.

Spurs Web Opinion:

If we can bring him in and put him on decent wages, and Pochettino is sure he won’t disrupt the squad, then I say go ahead. The midfielder has talent, and talented depth is something Spurs are in desperate need of. However, if the manager thinks he will be too much of a trouble-maker, then Spurs should steer well clear.
