Report: Unnamed English club submit offer for Milan Skriniar amid Spurs links

Journalist Santi Aouna from Foot Mercato has reported on Twitter that an unnamed English club has submitted a bid for Milan Skriniar – a bid with a higher value than that of PSG.

This comes after journalist Pasquale Guarro reported that PSG were readying a bid of €10m (£8.86m) for the central defender this month, as Skriniar is out of contract in June.

Skriniar himself has reportedly asked PSG to match the offer from the English team, but no agreement has been reached with either club as of yet (Santi Aouna).

It was reported last week that Inter Milan want to sell Skriniar before the end of the January window as it will likely be their last chance to claim some money for him (Gazzetta dello Sport). Gianluca Di Marzio claimed on his website that the central defender had rejected a new contract from Inter.

Calcio Mercato Web also added that Tottenham are continuing to keep an eye on Skriniar, while journalist Graeme Bailey told TEAMTalk that Spurs were among the teams ready to submit an offer for the Slovak in the summer.

Unfortunately, Fabrizio Romano told The Last Word on Spurs podcast today that the feeling among those around Milan Skriniar is that he will be a PSG player next season.

Spurs Web Opinion:

Milan Skriniar would be a game-changer for Spurs, but I think all roads point to PSG at the moment. Either they will up their offer and get him in January, or Skriniar will probably refuse the English club’s offer and join PSG on a free in the summer.
