Report: Update on Ndombele loan – Dele Alli was also offered to PSG

According to Get French Football News, while Tanguy Ndombele is edging closer to a move to Paris Saint-Germain, Dele Alli will likely not join him.

Tottenham are thought to be keen on offloading both Ndombele and Alli before the transfer window shuts (The Evening Standard).

It emerged last week that PSG had opened talks with Spurs over a loan deal for Ndombele, with Mauricio Pochettino said to be keen on reuniting with the midfielder he brought to Spurs in 2019 (The Athletic).

Fabrizio Romano subsequently revealed that Tottenham want Parisians to pay 100 per cent of the French international’s salary to sanction the loan move.

GFFN have now claimed that the Ligue 1 club have agreed to cover Ndombele’s full salary during his loan spell in Paris.

They state that Daniel Levy is yet to sign off on the deal as the Spurs chairman is still trying to arrange ‘something permanent’.

The publication also reveals that Alli has been offered to Parisians and Pochettino is keen on signing the former MK Dons man.

However, they add that PSG sporting director Leonardo is against signing Alli and wants Ndombele to be the club’s main focus.

Spurs Web Opinion

Levy will likely want an option to buy attached to any loan deal for Ndombele. If Dele leaves, I think he will likely join a Premier League club rather than moving abroad. I suspect there will be more clubs showing interest in Dele in the final days of the transfer window.
