Report: Vlahovic sends message to Fiorentina regarding his future amidst Spurs links

According to 90 min, rumoured Tottenham target Dusan Vlahovic has told Fiorentina he will not be forced to move until he is ready for a transfer.

Vlahovic is thought to have been earmarked as a priority signing by Antonio Conte but, over recent weeks, Arsenal have emerged as the front-runners to snap up the striker in January.

Fiorentina director Joe Barone insisted last week that the Serbian has to decide whether he wants to leave this month or if he wants to sign a new contract.

However, 90 min have claimed that Vlahovic has informed the Serie A club he will not be forced into a move and would prefer to wait until the summer for a transfer.

The report claims that Fiorentina are hoping for a fee of around €80m (£66m) for the 21-year-old, with Arsenal ready to meet their demands.

However, Vlahvoic is not thought to be convinced that a move to the Emirates would be the right one for him.

Vlahvoic will be less expensive in the summer he would have just 12 months left on his contract. However, I still cannot see Spurs winning the race for the 21-year-old unless Kane leaves. I suspect that the Serbian would end up joining Juventus at the end of the season.
